A film permit, along with proof of insurance, is required for all commercial film
and video production taking place on City of Aurora owned properties. This application
is the first step in the film permit process and should be submitted at least 10 business
days prior to the scheduled first day of filming. Other permits with separate applications
and fees may be required depending on the site and nature of the filming, for example
if requesting the use of a public park, trail, or natural area. If the film permit
application is accepted, a permit will be issued.
