City of Aurora Campaign Finance
CAMPAIGN STATEMENT REPORT OF CONTRIBUTIONS AND EXPENDITURES

In accordance with Aurora City Code, Section 54-104, candidate committees, political committees and all committees created to support or oppose Aurora ballot items are required to file contribution and expenditure reports.

These reports shall be filed until the committee account shows a zero balance and a termination statement has been filed.

  • Please note, Section 54-106(a) of the City’s Code states, “If the reporting day falls on a weekend or legal holiday, the report shall be filed by the close of the next business day.”

Pursuant to Section 54-104(c)- A Committee must file a Major Contribution Report upon receiving a contribution of one thousand dollars ($1,000) or more any time within sixty(60) days of the date of a municipal election.

September 3, 2021 to October 19, 2021 - The Major Contribution Report must be filed with the City Clerk no later than five(5) days after receipt of the contribution.

October 19, 2021 to November 2, 2021 - The Major Contribution Report must be filed with the City Clerk no later than 11:59 pm on the day following receipt of the contribution.
